 Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

Welcome to King’s Image Photography! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our photography services. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking and Payment

         •       Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost of service is required to secure your session date. The deposit will be applied to your total session fee.

         •       Payment: Full payment is due on the day of the session unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, check (payable to “Larenzo King”), CashApp ($LKingTheDream), PayPal (Larenzo King), or Venmo (Larenzo King).

         •       Cancellation and Rescheduling: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the session date to receive a refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit. Rescheduling is allowed one time without penalty if requested 48 hours before the session date.

2. Session Details

         •       Punctuality: Clients are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, and additional fees may apply for extended time.

         •       Weather/Unforeseen Circumstances: If weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., illness, emergency) require the session to be rescheduled, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative date.

         •       Model Release: By participating in the session, you grant King’s Image Photography the right to use images from your session for marketing, portfolio, and social media purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Image Delivery

         •       Turnaround Time: Edited images will be delivered within 14 days after the session date via photo gallery.

         •       Image Retention: King’s Image Photography will retain images for 6 months after delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to download and back up their images.

4. Editing and Retouching

         •       Standard Editing: Basic editing (color correction, cropping, exposure adjustments) is included in the session fee.

         •       Advanced Retouching: Any advanced retouching (e.g., blemish removal, body contouring) is subject to additional fees.

         •       Client Requests: Specific retouching requests must be made before editing begins. Additional fees may apply for changes requested after final images are delivered.

5. Copyright and Usage Rights

         •       Copyright: All images taken by King’s Image Photography remain the intellectual property of the photographer. Clients receive a print release for personal use only.

         •       Personal Use: Clients may print, share, and display images for personal use only. Commercial use of images without written consent from King’s Image Photography is strictly prohibited.

         •       Credit: When sharing images on social media or public platforms, credit to King’s Image Photography is required.

6. Liability

         •       Damages: King’s Image Photography is not liable for any damages (e.g., personal injury, property damage) occurring during the session.

         •       Image Loss: While every effort is made to ensure the safety and storage of images, King’s Image Photography is not liable for any loss or damage of images due to unforeseen circumstances.

7. Refunds

         •       Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds for services rendered will not be issued unless in the event of photographer’s failure to deliver as per the agreement.

         •       Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your images, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, and we will work with you to address your concerns.

8. Governing Law

         •       These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Amendments

         •       King’s Image Photography reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
